Documentaries 'George Harrison: Living in the Material World,' ' Paradise Lost 3: Purgatory' and 'The Weight of the Nation' were among the HBO programs that received Primetime Emmy nominations this morning. Among the honors for 'George Harrison' were nods in the categories of cinematography, editing and a directing nomination for Martin Scorsese. 'Paradise Lost 3: Purgatory' was recognized for outstanding directing and exceptional merit. In all, HBO received 81 nominations, the most for any network for the 12th year in a row.
The 64th Primetime Emmy Awards will take place in Los Angeles on September 23. The full list of nominees can be found at the link below.
